Soho House
Founded by Nick Jones in 1995, Soho House is a home for creative people to come together. A platform that fosters creativity in all its forms, and a place to share ideas and make connections in physical and digital spaces. Since the first House opened on Greek Street in London’s Soho, Soho House now includes over 40 Houses across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia, as well as restaurants, spas, workspaces and cinemas.
As retained advisors, FuturePlus has supported Soho House in creating and consolidating their global sustainability and social impact programmes and ESG Framework. We helped to create ‘House Foundations’, a programme of social responsibility initiatives that represent the foundations of Soho House, bringing together diversity and inclusion, mentorship, apprenticeships, social and environmental causes.
FuturePlus developed and delivered the ESG framework that underpinned Soho House’s successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2021, and was instrumental to the preparation of Soho House’s 2021 and 2022 Impact Reports. FuturePlus also allows Soho House to report its progress in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Jamila Brown, Head of House Foundations at Soho House, said:
“FuturePlus helped us to outline a roadmap that was built around a framework which covered things we hadn’t considered yet, so not only was it a plan of things we knew we needed to do, but it helped us by highlighting some goals that we hadn’t yet identified.
It was super useful to have a mixture of quick wins that we could put in place straight away and bigger projects that we could implement into our planning. For me, I love how results-oriented FuturePlus is. I like the roadmap, it’s very visual and easy to present to my leadership team.”
