How IMPACT CERTIFIED is Verified
IMPACT CERTIFIED is a private certification scheme developed and operated by FuturePlus to support organisations in measuring and improving their sustainability practices.
Certification is awarded upon completion of a FutureImpact assessment, which evaluates organisational practices against defined environmental, social, climate, diversity and inclusion and economic criteria.
VERTIFCATION PROCESS
- Assessment responses are reviewed for completeness, consistency, and supporting evidence
- Verification is conducted against the FuturePlus assessment framework and scoring methodology in place at the time of review
- Reviews are carried out by trained sustainability professionals with relevant subject-matter expertise
Where external reviewers are involved, they operate independently of the assessed organisation and follow the same verification criteria.

- It does not constitute a guarantee of environmental performance, regulatory compliance, or future outcomes
- Certification status is time-bound and subject to reassessment
