The United Nations Joint Sustainable Development Goal Fund
The Joint Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Fund is an innovative instrument to incentivise transformative policy shifts and stimulate the strategic investments required to get the world back on track to meet the SDGs.
Launched in 2019, The Joint SDG Fund supports countries as they accelerate their progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. It operates through a series of Calls for the United Nations system that lead to the implementation of transformative Joint Programmes. The Fund is committed to forge paths and partnerships that unlock public and private capital for the SDGs at scale
FuturePlus has advised the Joint SDG Fund on the innovative models of financing that will be required to ensure the right economic, social and environmental policies can be put in place and scaled to meet the 2030 goals. We advise and report on funding mechanisms, providing introductions to the private sector, engaging with philanthropists on ongoing proposals and programmes, and creating new partnerships with private donors and organisations to raise seed funding for chosen programmes.
